Maternity and Motherhood Photography

Congratulations!

Motherhood and maternity are the reasons why I decided to make the leap and do photography full-time.

I didn't take many photos during the late stages of my pregnancy or even for the first few years after...I just didn't feel like my "best". But when I look back at the very few photos I do have, I looked tired, but worthy. 

My own suffering of postpartum depression lead me to want to support other women in a less confrontational way…instead of asking, “Are you ok? Are you depressed?” I wanted to show them how wonderful, beautiful, and essential they are; to love and accept their bodies in a safe place and to be able to look back on themselves with kinder eyes.

I wish someone hyped me up and took the photos for me, and I'd love to be that person for you.
